Recursive Process

As I wrote my literacy narrative I didn’t really know where I was going with it. I had done the pre-writing activities such as: annotations of sources, a timeline and even a web about my literary sponsor; however, I still struggled to write out the story of how I became literate. One thing that was extremely helpful with this was the peer reviews. Once I read what others wrote I realized that I was doing okay, and I just needed to add more narrative. The peer reviews also helped me to revise my paper; seeing what I corrected on theirs made me realize that I might have the same issues in my paper. I did a lot of local revision and some global revision but not as much as local, which shows that I still need to work on that. Overall I felt my skills as a writer have improved immensely with this narrative and the biggest aspect of improvement being peer reviews an revisions.
